James Dorris is the Chief of Police of Soap Lake, Washington where I have resided now since October of 2009. He has taken out a temporary restraining order against me and my neighbor, Mike Power, because he thinks he has the right to inhibit the freedom of the press, the freedom of speech and the rights of citizens, residents and humans living in Soap Lake.
Following are excerpts from a letter that is being delivered to the Grant County Superior Court and the Grant County Circuit Court on June 30th, 2010, wherein Mr. Dorris will have an opportunity to respond to public allegations of corruption, injustice, stupidity and ignorance.
Dear Mr. Dorris,
I appreciate the fact that your major primary role in Soap Lake as the Chief of Police is to keep the Peace and the role of the Courts is similar to yours.
Without Peace there can be no trust between humans. My sole complaint to you Sir as a highly intelligent citizen of Soap Lake is that you accepted an illegal order from the Mayor, Wayne (Hitler) Hovde.
You had no business being at my residence at any time during the past eight months unless you had probable cause and or a search warrant. There is mounting evidence all over Soap Lake from dozens of citizens just like me to indicate that you have violated their trust as a Peace Officer and further violated their civil rights.
You have no right to spy on the citizens of Soap Lake, or to hire surveillant subservient cronies to spy on others.
You have sent your little children (Junior Officers) to various places where I predictably attend to my own business matters, such as the Library, John's Food Store, Van's Coffee House, and other public places in Soap Lake, looking for me to see what I am up to.
It has been a fun game of cat and mouse but the curious cat, well, you know what happened to it through no fault of the mouse.
I have every right as a journalist to write, publish and speak freely, under the Constitution of the United States, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Code of a Scientologist, the Code of Honor, and many other religious texts, anything I so desire to write or publish.
Rather than attack me under the Color of Law, let me first set the public record straight, before I suggest a more positive approach to settling certain pending legal matters before various courts in Grant County, Federal District Court in Seattle, and the International Court of Justice in the Hague.
It is my observation and personal opinion, which I have every right to express both privately and publicly, unless you are a Nazi or a Communist, and you subscribe to the abuses of power which you have publicly demonstrated in your actions, that you Good Sir are incompetent!
You lack rational judgment and are incapable of gathering accurate intelligence in the performance of your duties as the Chief of Police of Soap Lake, a position of trust and public office which carries the responsibility of making sure that the public safety is maintained rather than destroyed.
You have been observed to take information completely out of context and then act upon it without consulting with any third party and your arbitrary decisions are the result of your own personal paranoia.
You have been observed in public as being incapable of communicating at an acceptable competent executive level of intelligence.
These are charges that are being brought out publicly on the Internet in various places and you cannot stop anyone from expressing their opinion unless you feel you have the right to be a local tyranny producing dictator of your own personal dogma.
That is what you are attempting to be as evidenced by your actions and the performance of your duties.
Your actions and inactions in fact have incited civil unrest in the neighborhood of Fern Street and it is only through the efforts of intelligent men with discipline and superior knowledge that there has not been a huge outburst of violence in Soap Lake.
